German test pilot, Hans Fay, surrendered this aircraft to U.S. forces at Rein Main after taking off from Schwabisch-Hall.

These photos shows an American Air Technical Intelligence (ATI) team at work at Rein Main.

This aircraft was quickly shipped back to the United States for flight testing at Wright Field.

This jet crashed due to engine failure in Xenia, Ohio on 08/20/46. The pilot, LT McAuley bailed out prior to impact.

This unpainted 262 was found at Neubiberg, Germany. The Ju 88G-6 in the background is a ground attack equipped aircraft from V./NJG 2
